Lizette Tenorio In 2009, Junior, Lizette Tenorio won the Girl's CIF Southern Section Championship and the Girl’s CIF State Wrestling Championship at 237lbs. Lizette becomes Santa Ana High School's first State Champion for wrestling in its 120 year history. As a senior in 2010 Lizette captured the Girls CIF Southern Section Championship again, and placed 3rd in the Girls CIF State Wrestling Championships. She went on to place 2nd in the nation at the Girl’s Folkstyle National Championships in Oklahoma. Lizette is also a 2x Golden West League Champion in Shot Put and Discus for the Saints Track team. She was voted Santa Ana High School and the Golden West League Athlete of the Year for girl’s sports. We are very proud of her accomplishments. She has trail blazed the way for other girls in the sport of wrestling at Santa Ana High School giving them hope that they too can be champions.
